In 1978 I started my first business and can honestly say that I did not have clue "what I did not know." Now, 30 years on and having established more than 15 businesses and assisted with several 100 more I have learnt what the basic rules are and how relevant they still are to todays world.

In June 1992 I established The Small Business Advisory Centre to assist small business operators in developing their idea into a successful business.

During the last thirty years the Internet has developed from a university based information sharing platform to a daily changing labyrinth of information. The avalanche of information is making it harder and harder for people to find the information that they are seeking. This site sets out to make it easier by cataloging numerous sites which can be of assistance to the small business operator and  more importantly by providing the resources to assist those in business to survive and prosper.
